Fourteen years already but I still miss you dad.

I think of you almost every day and hardly a Sunday goes by that I don't long to hear your voice at the other end of the phone when you answer "Why hello Steve. . . "  and ending with you telling me how much you love me. This one's for you. . .

My dad loved his sons, his wife, Helen, and his many friends, all now long gone.

He was a man all about love. It defined him and carried him through 94 years.

He's been gone since 2004 but he's always with me. . . every day.

And he loved this music:

Thanks Pop! I love you!

Happy 109th birthday Pop!

Everything I am today or hope to become I owe to you. Wherever you are, I'll love you always, dad!

Happy 108th birthday Pop!

Everything I am today or hope to become I owe to you. Wherever you are, I'll love you always, dad! Your son, Steve

Happy Father's Day, Pop!

Dad and his older brother Carroll -- I'm guessing sometime in 1910 but, of course, I wasn't there so I can't be sure.

I love you dad. Always have. Always will.

You're still the greatest dad!

Twelve years ago today my dad passed through that door to see what was on the other side. Thanks for everything, Pop! Steak, baked potatoes tonight and fresh Michigan corn (frozen this past summer, I'll have you know), finished off by Susie's homemade vanilla ice cream and her scrumptious brownies.
