Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza

Today was wine exploration day, in a manner of speaking. First up was a short drive to the lovely walled town of Montalcino for a sampling of Brunello. And with a car we were able to leave with more than a few bottles as well.

Next up was Montepulciano and Vino di Nobile.

We ended today's touring with a walking tour of the very quiet hilltop village of Pienza and some scrumptious pecorino cheese.

Off to Montepulciano!

Last stop of the day Pienza. . .
