Summertime at Clear Lake

After the family gathering for Memorial Day two signature events dominated this summer at Clear Lake, one a beginning and the other an ending but together reminding us of the curious continuity of life.

First up was a co-ed baby shower on July 21 for Matt & Lisa, expecting their first child!

On August 3 John Ten Have's family and friends gathered at the spot Uncle John loved dearly: on the deck overlooking Clear Lake. Lots of stories and memories shared that day, remembering a man  whose body passed away this January but whose spirit lives on still in these woods.
